Stephen Daisley, who is based in Western Australia, has done army service, and has worked on farming stations, oil and gas sites. His first novel, The Traitor (2010), won an Australian Prime Minister’s Literary Award and his second novel, Coming Rain (2015), has been shortlisted for the 2016 Ockham New Zealand Book Awards.
