Dale Husband
Dale Husband is a Māori journalist and broadcaster of iwi heritage Ngāti Maru.
He is best known as the breakfast show host on Radio Waatea, where he presents Māori‑focused current affairs, news and discussion, bringing Māori perspectives to the airwaves.
Beyond radio, Dale is also a writer and interviewer for the online magazine e-Tangata, where he engages with stories that matter to Māori and Aotearoa communities.
Over his career, Dale has covered a wide range of topics – politics, social issues, Māori rights and culture – and is recognised for his clear voice, commitment to te ao Māori, and ability to foreground issues affecting Māori in mainstream media spaces.
