Jared Savage is an investigative reporter for The New Zealand Herald. He has won more than a dozen national and international journalism awards including twice being named as the best reporter in the country.
Jared's first book, Gangland, was about the evolution of organized crime in New Zealand, while his latest, Gangster's Paradise, is about the deadly escalation of gang-related crime. Both books are bestsellers.
