Joanne Drayton is the author of memoir The Queen’s Wife, 2019 Ockham NZ Book Awards winning Hudson & Halls- The Food of Love, and the New York Times bestseller The Search for Anne Perry. She has curated exhibitions and has published books across art history, theory and biography, including biographies of Frances Hodgkins and Ngaio Marsh. Joanne is a research associate at the University of Auckland and teacher at Avondale College.
