Pianist and composer Ben Fernandez holds a Masters Degree in Jazz Performance from the University of Auckland. He gave up a career in advertising to be a full-time musician, teaching and composing music, regularly conducting workshops in jazz improvisation, and performing both locally and internationally. He is one of the creative’s selected to be a part of the Ockham Collective 2023.
