Poet and performer Luke Wright has been lauded as “one of the funniest and most brilliant poets of his generation” (Independent). He writes poems for all ages, capturing the stories of funny and not so funny things that happen to ordinary people. One of his most well known poems for children is Boden and the Library, about a boy who goes to the ‘boring’ local library to cause trouble, only to discover that libraries are treasure troves full of wonder that can set you free. Luke will perform poetry and talk about what it takes to make a poem come alive on and off the page.
