Dr Kimora Raerino (Ngāti Awa, Te Arawa) is a member of Te Komiti Whakahaere o Te Kotahi a Tāmaki, and marae member for Mataatua Marae, Tāmaki Makaurau. She is a researcher at Te Manawahoukura, Rangahau Centre at Te Wānanga o Aoteaora, and the Whariki Research Centre. Dr Kimiora has written on a variety of topics, with her research focusing broadly on Environmental Health and the role of urban marae for the wellbeing of Māori.
