Broadcast journalist Sonya Wilson has worked as a news and current affairs reporter for more than 20 years. She has a Masters’ in Creative Writing from The University of Auckland and is the founder & director of the children’s book charity Kiwi Christmas Books. Her children’s novel Spark Hunter has won several awards, including the NZSA Best First Book Award at the 2022 NZ Book Awards for Children and Young Adults.
