Luani Nansen (He/Him), a.k.a. nualān, is a Samoan Poet, Guitarist, DJ, Emcee, and Producer born and raised in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa. His villages in Samoa are Vaiusu, Falese'elā, Satapuala, Lauli'i and Apolima Tai.

Since his departure from DLS College in 2020, Luani has worked with community arts-based groups such as Action Education and Te Karanga Trust. Within these spaces, Luani has had the privilege of growing as an artist while also serving his community through facilitator roles and space holding.

Within these spaces, Luani has also found comfort in his journey with music, honing in on his skills as Instrumentalist (guitar and voice), DJ, Emcee and Producer.
