Jeremy Hansen writes and talks about architecture and urbanism. He is the co-author, with Jade Kake, of Rewi (MUP 2023), a survey of the work of the late architect Rewi Thompson. He is also the editor of the book Modern: New Zealand Homes from 1938-1977 (Godwit, 2013) and the co-author, with Jeremy Salmond and Patrick Reynolds, of Villa: From Heritage to Contemporary (Godwit, 2009). For 11 years, he was the editor of HOME magazine. As a journalist, he has contributed to The Spinoff, Metro, North & South, The Listener, Architectural Record and Dwell. He is the co-host of the architecture podcast 76 Small Rooms, and works on art, culture and community projects in Auckland's Britomart precinct.
