Siobhan Harvey is the author of nine books. Her latest is the memoir, What We Remember, What We Forget (Otago University Press, 2026). Recently it won a Category Prize (LGBTQiA, memory) at 2025 Memoir Prize for Books (US)and was highly commended in 2024 Bridport Memoir Prize (UK). and won the 2023 Landfall Essay Competition. She was awarded the 2021 Janet Frame Literary Trust Award for Poetry, 2020 New Zealand Society of Authors Peter & Dianne Beatson Fellowship, 2019 Kathleen Grattan Prize for a Sequence of Poems, 2019 Robert Burns Poetry Prize and 2013 Kathleen Grattan Poetry Award. Presently she's a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at Auckland University of Technology where she holds a PhD in Creative Writing.
