As Curator Pictorial at Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland War Memorial Museum, Shaun Higgins contributes his photographic expertise to research, collecting and exhibitions. Recent work includes the book and show, Nature Boy: The Photography of Olaf Petersen (2022) and Robin Morrison: Road Trip (2023). He supervised the search through Robin Morrison’s original Kodachrome slides for the reissue of The South Island of New Zealand from the Road.
