AOTEAROA NEW ZEALAND

Ruby Porter is a prose writer, poet and artist, who has been widely published, including in Geometry Journal, Aotearotica, The Spinoff, and Wireless. She tutors creative writing at the University of Auckland. In 2017, she won the Wallace Foundation Short Fiction Award, and her debut novel Attraction was the inaugural winner of the Michael Gifkins Prize in 2018.
