Arts philanthropist Peter Biggs CNZM has had significant involvement in the arts sector, including Chair of the Arts Council of NZ (CNZ), chief executive of the NZSO, Trustee of the Arts Foundation of NZ, and former Chair of Read NZ Te Pou Muramura (now chair Emeritus). He is a founding Trustee and chair of the Featherston Booktown Trust.
