Kenyan teacher, editor, novelist, essayist, playwright, children’s writer and recipient of an honorary doctorate from The University of Auckland, Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o, is Africa’s premiere literary voice and an oft mooted Nobel Prize contender. His books include Devil on The Cross, Decolonising the Mind Birth of a Dream Weaver and Wrestling with the Devil.
