Bill Hayes is the author of seven books and the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship in nonfiction. He is a regular contributor to the New York Times and has lectured at numerous universities, including NYU. He is also recognized for his photography, which has featured in The New York Times and Vanity Fair, and been exhibited at New York City galleries. A film adaptation of Bill’s memoir Insomniac City is currently in process, and his latest book is SWEAT: A History of Exercise.
