Emeritus Professor Roger Horrocks MNZM has just written Culture in a Small Country, a history of the arts in New Zealand, and A Book of Seeing. He was Head of Film and Media Studies at the University of Auckland, was once Len Lye’s assistant, and has received the Royal Society of New Zealand’s Pou Aronui Award.
