Poet, playwright, librettist and essayist Renee Liang coauthored with Michele Powles When We Remember to Breathe (2019), a memoir of motherhood. Her work is widely anthologised: recently Skinny Dip, Breach Of All Size, and Year's Best Aotearoa NZ Science Fiction and Fantasy Vol 3.
