AOTEAROA NEW ZEALAND

Author Maria Gill has won the Elsie Locke Award for Non-Fiction, the Margaret Mahy Book of the Year, and the Margaret Mahy Medal for her distinguished contribution to New Zealand children’s literature. She has written more than 60 books, including Ernest Rutherford: Just an Ordinary Boy.
