Hisham Matar spent his childhood in Tripoli and Cairo and is the author of books including the international award winner and Man Booker shortlisted novel In the Country of Men, and the Pulitzer Prizewinning memoir, The Return, a powerful exploration
of the fate of Libya and of his father. He has been translated into 29 languages.
