Nigerian novelist and poet Helon Habila’s many prizes include the Caine Prize and a Commonwealth Writers Prize. His most recent novel Travelers was written while he was a DAAD Fellow in Berlin, and he currently teaches creative writing at George Mason University in Virginia.
