Carl Shuker is a former editor at the BMJ and the author of five novels. He holds a master’s from Victoria University and won the Prize in Modern Letters in 2006 for his first novel The Method Actors. His latest novel A Mistake has been shortlisted for the Ockham NZ Book Awards.
