Amy McDaid’s debut novel Fake Baby won the 2017 Wallace Foundation Prize, and was longlisted for the Ockham NZ Book Awards. She has written for The Spinoff, Newsroom and Three Lamps Journal, received the 2021 Todd New Writer’s Bursary, and is a contributor to YA poetry anthology Skinny Dip.
