The Festival Information Desk
is located on Level 2 of the Aotea Centre (outside the stalls entrance to the ASB Theatre). Lost property, information on programme and/
or venue changes and other general information is available here. Patrons and Friends of the Festival should register on arrival to receive your wristband if not received prior.
SEATiNg
ticketed events: All seating for ticketed events is General Admission. Friends and Patrons have reserved seats at the front.
Free events: First come, first served. It is not possible to reserve seats either in advance or on the day. Please be advised that queues can start to form as early as 45 minutes prior
to a Free Event session start time.
BOOkSTAll
The Festival has its own dedicated bookstalls at the Aotea Centre (on lower, middle and upper levels). Run jointly by The Women’s Bookshop and Unity Books Auckland, audience members will be able to purchase books by authors appearing in the Festival. The Festival bookstall will also be selling books at other Festival venues. Books can also be purchased online from writersfestivalbookstall.co.nz

Book signing takes place immediately following most events unless otherwise advised.
FilmiNg & cAmERAS
The Festival will be filming each
of the sessions for archival and publicity purposes. It is possible that audience members’ images will be included from time to time in the filming. Should you not wish to be filmed, please advise the usher. It is not permitted to take photographs at any Festival events.

The Festival is sponsored by Allpress Espresso and barista coffee is available for sale at the Aotea Centre. Light meals are available for purchase at the Aotea Centre and at the AAG.
