Christine O’Brien was the marketing manager of Auckland University Press for 14 years and is a champion of New Zealand literature, and poetry in particular. She has an honours degree in English Literature and a law degree, and is a member of the Mangere- Otahuhu Local Board, where her portfolios include libraries.

Poet, essayist, editor, artist and 2015 Stout Memorial Fellow at Victoria University, Greg O’Brien is an energetic presence in art and literature and has published many books. He co-ordinated the ‘Kermadec’ art exhibition which has toured locally and internationally and is currently at the Tjibaou Centre, New Caledonia.
