OUR PAST

OUR FUTURE
Rudyard Kipling and Mark Twain had at least two things in common. They wrote classic novels that appealed to children and adults alike.
And they were Freemasons.
Whilst literary ability may come naturally to some people, all budding writers, authors, poets and playwrights need tutorship, guidance, support and the opportunity to refine their skills.
The Freemasons are privileged to be supporting the Auckland Writers Festival Schools Programme and the AWF Family Days for 2015. These are initiatives that bring access to the written word and exposure to some of the worldʼs leading writers on a yearly basis. It joins other initiatives that we have successfully partnered in the furtherance of young talent across New Zealand.
