Don't let the memories from last Festival fade. You can watch some of your favourite talks from May on our Vimeo account. Here are a few favourites to whet your appetite:

An Hour With Fatima Bhutto

Charmingly eloquent Pakistani author Fatima Bhutto was hugely popular at the Festival, and the video of her appearance has taken the same road, with hundreds of people viewing.
In this heart wrenching hour Fatima speaks with Treasa Dunworth about human rights violations in Pakistan, and her book Songs of Blood and Sword.

An evening with A.A. Gill

Another crowd charmer is the acerbic A.A. Gill. A travelling food writer, and great story-teller, Gill has the power to shock and entertain. Kiwi chef Al Brown, who appeared onstage with Gill at the Writers Festival, later blogged about his apprehension in interviewing such a satirical force.

Saturday Night Rives

The spoken word poetry of Rives is powerful and evocative, enough to inspire some fans to tattoo themselves with his verses. For the Festival he delivered a stunning performance. Engaging and entertaining. Also, featuring on stage with Rives was the winner of the University of Auckland's Poetry Slam, Moody.

Graphic Novels, Comics and Cartoons

This panel discussion between Dylan Horrocks, Chris Slane, Ant Sang, Karen Healey and chaired by comic-blogger Adrian Kinnaird has been incredibly popular in the digital realm.

Following Kinnaird blogging about revelations made during the course of the discussion, internationally revered comic blog Bleeding Cool featured the video. It is now reached more than 1200 views since the Festival.

There are many more videos available on our Vimeo page... so mosey on over and check them out.
